The only problem I see is that neither Gtkglext nor Clutter/COGL have OpenGL profile support in context creation: you're stuck with an 8 year old version of OpenGL. But you probably only really need a more recent OpenGL if you're a game company like Valve, in which case you would be better off with something simpler like SDL2. -- Remco
