> Kelly, a CD-R is still a CD. How do you keep it from skipping?
True. The player I have has a 60-second buffer in it, and it
works just fine unless I'm on a road so bumpy that the buffer
can't refill. That doesn't happen often enough for me to worry
about it. I don't hard-mount the player to the bike, so it's
cushioned a bit in the tankbag.

And while it IS a CD, the format of the disk is much different
than an audio CD. (this won't help the skipping, but I thought
I'd mention it for those not familiar with them)
