  Brandon.......If my FJ1200  experience means anything to you, replace the
battery at any sign of  trouble ( like dead or weak) because theres nothing
like being stuck somewhere because your batteries kaput!....Plate failure (
collapsed plate)  was the only thing that ever stopped that bike ( the
FJ1200)  in the 65k and 9 years since new  that  I  owned  it!
