Unfortunately, this battery will probably never live a full life. Initial setup of a battery is absolutely THE most important aspect of battery longevity. The acid should have been added to the cells and allowed to sit for 1/2 - 1 hr. then topped off. A trickle charger at 1- 1.5 amps should then be used to charge the battery for NO LESS than 12 - 16 hrs.

The dealer only got to charge it for about 1/2 hour before I made him give it to me. I then rode it about 100 miles. Do I need to charge it more? Jason
