Well for all the skeptics out there. Here is some living proof that you can get more
power ,torque, & reliability without stressing things out. I have done almost 90 000km
on my FJ 1100's original engine. When I updated it I concentrated on more street
performance. I didn't really look or care for reliability. The mods I did weren't out
of this world but got to tax the engine quite well as a unit. I managed to get more
power,torque, & well the next rebuild came at 260 000km+. That's 170 000km + with more
power, torque than stock. More FUN. You see, I learned that when properly done ,power
increases, reliability increases ,efficiency increases & stress actually decreases.
The stock engine is fine, but when the day comes to refresh, why not make it better.
The experience is like buying a new bike all over again.Peter Piazza
