Anyone out there who collects old MC magazines or has
accsess to 1996-97 Cycle
World,Motorcyclist,SportRider,
I seem to recall the last roadtests of the FZR-YZF
1000 reporting a host of improved parts,in the engine
 such as lighter stronger pistons and rods. Perhaps
performance can be increased with no penalty to reliability-longevity.
