I doubt it since we know now that the brake fluid has to be changed at a
greater interval than Yamaha recommends in the manual and also to cycle the
HU to keep fresh fluid in the pump. Only time will tell now, since most have
only had their second HU for a year or so. It is amazing to see how fast the
brake fluid deteriates though, makes one wonder about the SS brake line
thread of late. Bob B.

Bob, I mean't has anyone had a new HU (that replaced a failed one) fail. If
not one might suspect there was a bad original batch fitted to some (most?)
GTSs.
