Are you sure it is not tire tread noise ? If it is a wheel bearing, get it
fixed ASAP.

Subject: Front wheel bearing

Sheeesh, If its not one thing it's another...
I recently finished lubing front and rear suspension. Finally a squeek free
ride.
Now I've started to notice a bit of a whining noise coming from the front
wheel. Pitch goes up and down in relation to speed. Does this mean my front
wheel bearing is on its way out? Is this dangerous? ie do I need to replace
immediately? The front tire rotates free and smooth at hand spin speed. It
just seems to make a bit of noise at riding speed. Any pointers on
inspection?

Thanks,
Rick
