1. Someone on this list recommended using Staroffice at home because it
is compatible with MS Office. I couldn't agree more, Staroffice is
freeware from Sun, and I have version 5.2. I use it all the time, it is
superb at any price, and for free it is an astounding deal. It has
everything you could expect from an office suite.

2. About ten days ago someone posted something about Competition
Accessories closing out the AGV Q3R helmets for $180. My Kiwi K22 is
about 5-6 years old now, and I have tried to replace it with another
Kiwi, but apparently they don't sell motorcycle helmets in the states
anymore. So I went around to some local dealers to get a look at the
Q3R and couldn't find it. I called the AGV distributor back east and
asked if they had plenty of styrofoam in the chin area. I WILL NOT use
a helmet without it. Styrofoam in the chin is the difference between a
fat lip and a LaForte III fracture of the mandible and maxilla (your
lower face breaks off, not recommended). I was assured there was lots
of good styrofoam so I ordered the helmet, which arrived today. It will
be going back tomorrow, no styrofoam in chin. I sure wish I could get
another KIWI, it has lots of nice styrofoam, and an automotive seatbelt
style fastening system. I have been using them for at least ten years
now.
