One thing to check is the clearance between the disc and the pads.
Using a set of feeler gauges check that the clearance is no more than .003
thou between each pad and the disc, because if it is more , it means that
the seals are pulling the pistons back into the caliper bores , when the
brake pressure is released .
( it gets progressively worse as the brake is used ), which creates a longer
lever travel ( makes you think you have air in the system ).
