I must'a missed something. I thought the unique thing about the GTS was the
RADD front suspension. Since Yamaha abandoned us with the forked up FJR,
I'm more interested to see if the rumored ST replacement really will have
the ELF suspension. Don't get me wrong, the FJR is s nice bike & if someone
wanted to give me one I wouldn't say no. On the other hand I wouldn't trade
my GTS in on one. I just don't think trading the most advanced suspension
for an electric windshield was a good trade. Once I win the lottery I'll
graft a RADD suspension on to the FJR.....
And it does appear that Yamaha is blaming the GTS for their mismanagement.
"The GTS didn't sell. It can't be that we're incompetent. It must be that
Americans won't buy advanced technology."
