Very interesting. As soon as I read your post, I looked into my 'GTS' goodies folder and the earlyst posting I have is from 98. However, I just realized that I never 'imported' my email from my older box, collecting dust in the closet. I hate to get rid of it, you know, it was a burner back then, the venerable DX4/100 with 32 meg of ram, 540 meg hard-drive, 4x cdrom....you know, top of the line stuff!
Ahh...I digress. Anyway, I'll have to go haul it out and see what I've got it. I'm pretty sure I signed up in early or mid 97 for the list, though I may have been looking the year before that for general info, as that was the year I bought my bike that had been sitting on the dealers floor for 3 years also. Funny how price can slow you down on some purchases, in the past, I didn't really worry or give a second thought to the price, most comparable bikes were of comparable price in the 70's and the 80's. I'll look it up this weekend, it should be interesting. Heck, I may even get motivated to update the ...wait, I can't say it. Might jinx it. But I just might.....
