Yup. Well....my old friend Ralph send me the pictures before he places them
on his website.
Something really impressed me on the pictures...there are lot of sparks out
of the footpegs. On the other hand, Ralph has mounted pretty cool short
ALUMINIUM pegs. As we learn in German Rocket Scientist Schools in some
Metallurgy Lessons: Aluminium don't spark this way. Looks like, hm, Iron ?
Cheap Steel ?

I give him a call and, yeah, he has mounted some tiny plates on his SHOES -
made of steel.

Looks even better on a picture, air-taking show action. Besides of kidding
around: He has shorter pegs mounted, and they are smaller as well. I rode
with Ralph many times - he is cornering, well, pretty hard. All the way down
till the pegs touch the ground. I can follow him, but only me shoes will
touch the ground. Why ? (For RSBOB and his Brother in law !) Look at Ralph's
picture again: He has a "upright" riding style, even when he is cornering
hard. Means: His ass is comfortable in that cozy GTS seat. Me myself and my
ass will slip a bit to the inside. Same speed in the corner, but your knees
will touch the ground first.

Joerg

P.S. Smaller Pegs are around $ 80, add some $ 600 for a harder suspension -
try yourself in playing with some peg action. Lots of fun and adrenaline....

Speaking of peg scraping......
Check out the cool air-taking pegscraping GTS action photos at Ralph's site:

The site intro is pretty cool, but you'll have to wait a bit if your on
dialup.
