Hello Adam,
I'don't know much about Guzzi's and only a little about outfits.
Don't be afraid of outfits but beware! Riding a outfit is not easy.
E.g.
A light weight outfit is very difficult to handle
(see the picture of the rear wheel wheelie with a MZ outfit on mine
GTS/Sidecar-site at the sidecar tech pages).
The weight of the bike and the weight of the sidecar must be in balance.
The more modifications you'll do for sidecar riding on the bike, the
better it will handle. But that costs a lot of money.
The trailer manufacturer Schuring also sells dogtrailers. It's a lot
cheaper then a sidecar and may be a solution for your dog.
