Humidity or dew might be a factor - my ABS light used to flash in damp weather
sometimes; I took it into a dealer who did the proper diagnostics on the computer,
which checked out OK so they replaced the stop light switches, since when no more
flashing lights.
I'm guessing that if a stop light switch shorts out due to moisture ingress, the ABS
system thinks you are applying the brakes but not slowing down, and this causes an
error signal?
