If you remove the tail light bulbs, the ABS light will certainly blink.
However, I've replaced the stock bulbs with standard 1157, 2057 AND halogen
equivalents with no problems. No blink! Hmmmmm.......just another
datapoint.

Chase,
Have your tail lights been replaced recently??
You must use the "exact" tail lights for the GTS.(Both)
If you use "generic" tail lights instead of the GTS light bulbs,
than your ABS light will flash intermittently upon use.
This was confirmed with my GTS when I replaced one of my tail lights
because the "brake" light portion didn't work.
The "generic" lights don't use the same "filament" resistance as
the GTS Yamaha bulbs, and this caused my ABS "frequent" blinking problem.
I spent the extra $3.00's and went back to the Yamaha OEM bulbs, and
this fixed my problem.. Guaranteed....

Subject: ABS light wackiness
I bought my 93 GTS last fall, and immmediately noticed that when I used
the brakes hard the ABS light started flashing. I was informed this was
probably not a big deal, just that the sensor was dirty or maybe the
brakes needed bleeding. I took my bike in for a big onceover about a
month ago, and the flashing stopped. The weather has been nice enough
here in Utah for me to ride to work this week, and the light has started
blinking again. The odd thing is that it blinks in the morning on the
way to work, but nothing I can do will make it blink on my ride home. I
am thinking the temperature might be a factor, it is in the 50s in the
morning, and in the 70s in the afternoon right now. Any thoughts?
