Subject: looking for/contemplating a GTS (not sure why....)

So I sold my clapped out FJ1200, tried out a BMW (again...) and I may be
looking closely at a Bandit 1200 tonight. But the thought struck me, what
ever happened to those GTS1000's that were so neat? As my girlfriend says,
I
need to own one of every model bike ever made....

So here I am, subscribing to the GTS list in hopes of either finding a
decent
bike at a non-ludicrous price, or being talked out of it all together. Can
ya help me out?

I currently have a 900SS Duc for street hooliganism after selling off my
collection of SRX Yamaha's. Yes, I am drawn to the one or two year
hermorphadites. Had a Phazer too! I race a MuZ 720 Replica, dirt on a WR200
Yamaha, another one year wonder before they went to 250's. And my woman has
a
Honda 650 Hawk.

Our quest is to find a great, not ok as the BMW is that, but a great, fun,
fast, nimble, comfortable, two up, sport touring motorcycle. And if that's
not enough, near Wisconsin would be even better!

Can anyone lend a brother a hand?!?!?!
