Two times I thought to have the same problem with the battery. Once it was the
poor connection of the + pole, and once it was a poor connection of the main
fuse.
When I was troubleshooting this problem at night, the alarmsystem thought it
was a good idea to wake up everyone in the neighbourhood, every fifty seconds
or so. ;-)
