Adam,
Did you get your bike used?  Maybe the previous owner
replaced the stock foam on the OE seat.  My impression
is very similar to Grant's - rock hard with sharp
edges.  The Corbin's no barcalounger, but unlike the
OE seat, it doesn't cut off the circulation to my
legs.
