I guess I'm the second guy to claim that the stock GTS seat is soft and comfortable.
But not overly
soft to the point where you could feel the seat pan through the foam (I got my bike
used). If I get
another one I'd let you know if there is a difference.
It did not look like the seat was altered (Not that I know
how to detect that).
Of the three bikes I've had so far: 84 ZX900, 86 VFR750F and 94 GTS
the seat on GTS was the comfiest. Passengers never complained about
the foam density either (only about the pegs placement).
Now I remember seing the cruiser style pegs pics somewhere in the GTS archives that
the previous
owner had printed.
That got me thinking: bolt that on, let the pillion use the rider's pegs...
and you're all set for an accident at a freeway speed =:-D
I guess the key is to never ever let the pillion experience riding on the back of the
GoldWing. And
so far I was successful ;^)
Did anyone make that fatal mistake and want to share? :-)))
