I've got about 4k on them and their in better shape
than any tire at said mileage so far. I live on the
Central West Florida coast,so I have'nt noticed
a cold traction problem , although Metzeler
advertizes good cold temp traction. Front tire is
wearing very evenly with no cupping or uneven wear.
My priority is good allround handling & long tread
life. For my style of riding I generally get 10k
minimum life out of my tires. I'll put another
thousand miles on them before I ride to HONDA HOOT
in Knoxville, which will be about 3k round trip.
That will put me in the neighborhood of 8k by
the time I return and I'll still have a couple of
thousand miles of tread life left. So mileage is
important to me. Corner fallin is neutral which
I like. Overall,the Mez4 is a very good sport
touring tire.
