I've had a problem with starting that seems related to starter motor (relay is OK). It's an intermittent fault, and it seems I can the right result when I waggle the black wire from relay to starter motor. Having dismantled half the fairing (first time) and cleaned up obvious connections, I still can't get to the starter motor! Where is it?!!! The manual acknowledges its existence but I can't work out where it is situated or how to access it. I've looked back thru the archive for helpful hints - which I think I've followed to get the right diagnosis. I've yet to try the one that says it's possible for the main cable to rest on an iron stub and wear the insulation. Any help greatly appreciated ......... Robin Gammon [EMAIL PROTECTED]
