Uhhmmm...for my own personal reasons...I like the list the way it is.
Mostly because because the threads run in line, I get to see or read
everyones response and I don't have to reload my browser everytime I
read a message. (And I have DSL!)
I guess its just familiar and I feel that its easy enough to use. But I
realize that that is just my opinion and I'm not making an arguement for
or against change. I'm simply saying...I like it the way it is. :^)
Or course, the UBBS software may have some of those features, but I
generally download my messages all at once, go offline, and then read
them at my leisure. Some of our friends across the pond don't have free
or inexpensive internet access and it could cost them extra dollars
potentially to read via a web-browser. As the list exists right now, all
the messages are saved/archived as text as the default and I don't have
to take any extra steps to save them in my app.
Again, I am only expressing my opinion of the list method. I respect
other's wishes to express their ideas and thoughts at the same time.
