Kevin, I'm in for a set. I'd like mine with clear coating, red fittings where possible, standard color where red cannot be done. (see below for details) Also want enough high-quality rubber brake line to replace the low-pressure lines that won't have banjos on them. (again, see below). I'd like to replace EVERY brake and clutch line on the bike. I also just called them with a number of questions, and here are the responses: Q: Will the swiveling banjos allow any air into the system? A: No. Q: The GTS has a lot of lines, some are low pressure lines from reservoir, having no banjos. (now, I don't know this for certain, but from waht I've read on here there are lines that aren't replaced by the stainless lines.) What do we do with those lines? A: We sell a really high-grade brake line to replace those. Use it and a good hose clamp. Let us know how much you need. Q: Will the lines get moisture between the steel braid and the outside vinyl coating as some lines do (Russell, Goodridge)? A: We've never had anyone complaining about that. Q: Care of the lines? A: Don't use acid-based cleaners like S-100, that'll make the lines look cloudy. Q: If we get a special kit made up for the GTS, can we still get custom colors on the ends? A: Yes. Some colors cost more- Gold (and two others, I can't recall) The red and blue colors are no extra charge. Not all ends can be anodized- The banjos all can, but some of the threaded ends cannot. Q: Best fluid to use? A: A high-dollar DOT 5.1 fluid. This is not silicone-based, as is 5.0. 5.1 mixes with 3.0, 4.0. A good 5.1 (such as MotorX, which Spiegler sells, or Motul) will absorb less moisture than other fluids, particularly DOT 3 and 4. -K ====================================================================== Kelly Cash Direct: 408-845-5762 Sr. Systems Engineer Main: 408-845-5700 Solid Data Systems FAX: 408-727-5496 2945 Oakmead Village Court [EMAIL PROTECTED] Santa Clara, CA 95051 www.soliddata.com ======================================================================
