Well....let's pretend that you have NOT messed with the ABS. If it were
to fail, the brakes would simply revert back to normal use, as is with
most bikes. But you may NOT get a warning light before it happens. There
have been various stories concerning that matter, but the theory is that
they just revert back to standard brakes. So you just lose the ABS
properties.
However, if you 'repair' the ABS, well...that's another can of worms.
Improper assembly might cause a potential catastrophic failure which
could mean NO brakes at all. However, I don't really know if thats true.
:^) I've not gotten into the system's relationships to know what would
happen. I'll bet that someone else will respond to that one. (My money
is on RSBOB. 30 quid!)
I have no idea how much that is. (American humor again....!)
