As we all know, filling the gastank is a chore, and it doesn't fill up
all the way. I have read a couple of labor-intensive fixes for this,
but I have a theoretical fix that shouldbe easy. The filling area is a
funnel with a flap at the bottom, the funnel looks to be a soft metal
like aluminum. Why can't I carefully poke a few small holes in the
aluminum at the top of the funnel? This would let air escape so it
would fill more quickly, and also more fully. Please advise.
