I made a 12mm hole i mine with a big punch and bent the flap down , but it
doesn't really fill up that much quicker and you still can't get a full tank
.
It was a pain waiting for the air to come out as the fuel went in so i
decided to do the mod , it's fairly straight forward and easy to do with the
right equipment .
You will get more fuel in by removing the neck , at a guess 1 to 1 1/2
litres more , it's well worth doing the mod .
The neck of the tank is tuff stuff , so if you do decide to punch a hole in
it , you'll need one BIG hammer , a completely drained tank ( you'll need to
vent the tank ) . Just hope you don't damage the tank when hitting it so
hard .
