And after you feel comfortable patching the tire, turn off the lights and do
the job holding a flashlight.  And after you feel comfortable at that, have
someone run a sprinkler over you while you're patching the tire in the dark
holding a flashlight.  That may be going to the extreme, but as Kelly said:
Practice.  And simulating adverse conditions isn't a bad idea.
