As the father of the "1 O'Clock" fix, I guess I should be hurt? ;-)
Naw, I know that it's best to sniff it. But to my watering eyes, 1:00
was the leanest... Unfortunately, I don't think anyone has
put together a perfect prescription for killing the dreaded
surging. At least not that has worked on every GTS...
I think part of the problem is that most all of our measurements
are too subjective to be easily repeatable... except for the
gas analyzer.
Did you check chain tension? My experience is that a chain
that's 1/2 inch too loose is far more noticeable than the worst
TB sync or CO issue.
