I'm 6'2"and I have no trouble with buffeting from the stock shield. Build
your seat up 5" so you're tall enough to get out of the wind stream!! :)
John, no wonder you can ride long distances--you don't have to bend your
knees! You just STAND there!!!!
Today I rode close to 190 miles. The furthest I've ever ridden on the GTS
in one stretch (no comments from you iron butt guys, please). I dressed a
little bit differently: I wore bicycling shorts instead of my regular
underwear and viola, I was able to ride close to 160 miles before I started
to get achy. That's a five-fold increase!!
After a few other mods to come in the next 2 months or so I think I have a
keeper.
