I installed my filters a couple of years ago so, I don't remember the exact
price and part numbers but if you measure the throttle body opening and call
K&N they will guide you as to which specific filters the GTS requires. In
short there are two kinds, the round which are smaller and the oval which
are larger for more air flow. Mine are the oval type and I have had
absolutely no problems with them. You will need four, one for each throttle
body and a smaller round filter for the blow-by tube. As for the
installation, first take the top & side plastic off the bike. Then remove
the stock airbox completely but don't throw it away, you may need it some
day. I use it to feed my dog :-)). Next step is to oil the filters with the
supplied K&N oil & let dry 1/2 hour (if they don't come pro-oiled from the
vendor). Then place the individual K&N filters onto each of the throttle
bodies and tighten down the clamp screws. You will need to find a location
to tie wrap the blow-by filter and tube. I tie wrapped mine onto the right
side of the frame, looking from the back forward. Then crank your baby and
sit back to enjoy the sound. It's a pretty intuitive process so don't be
frighten by it, if I can do it anyone can.
