Chase,
Kavanagh's assistant, Christina, called me today. She said that Yamaha
covers the labor and was surprised that I was told I'd be responsible for
labor. She called the dealer and straightened it all out. Somebody is BS'ing
in the chain somewhere. I'm not sure if it's the dealer or the regional rep
the dealer spoke with. In any event, it looks like I'm covered for now. I
will carry her number and a cell phone with me when I go to pick the bike
up - just in case.
Chase, when you get a response, scan it in and post it on your website.
Thanks.
I noticed your in a Quake clan - play any UT?

Subject: ABS solution?
Someone posted the name of Jordan Kavanagh of Yamaha Corp. as the man to
talk to about the ABS replacement unwritten warranty problem. I sent
him a letter today, a very nice letter, asking for his official response
on behalf of Yamaha. The fun thing about being a lawyer is that you can
send very nice letters on your letterhead, and the threat is just
implied. Anyway, I am hoping for an official response that I can post
to the group so that no one else has to put up with this crap.
