Thanks to the guys that took the trouble to get into contact with Yamaha
corporate. I talked to Kavanagh's assistant Christina and while I was on the
phone with her she called the dealer and gave instructions for them to verify
that there was a defect and Yamaha would cover the replacement of the HCU.
No dancing or bullshit, I couldnt believe it. Whe the HCU was replaced on
the 93 it was still under the extended warranty so I expected trouble
especially since I wasnt the original owner.
Took the bike into the dealer and watched as he rode it and locked up the
rear wheel. Part has been ordered and they will call when it comes in.

ps. I think we will have another convert soon. Carl, (a guy that bought my
FJ 1200) rode down and the took both the 93 and 94 for a ride today. I think
he is sold.
