Hello folks. I just got back from a couple of hours of rush hour traffic in lovely Montreal. It's sunny & the temp. is 34 degress celsius. Simply another perfect summer day & it was another great experience on the GTS. It's amazing how those 4 wheeled fiends were just getting out my way. They let me cut in, get back out , get back in somewhere selse. I got thumbs up, smiles, nods(even from the HD crowd),waves, stares........... wooooow!!!!!!! Ok! Ok! Enough of that & back to the reason for this post. Again I quite amazed at how well this beast can take care of business. Transitions are a breeze, stop & go is a breeze, seating position is excellent. The weight? What weight? The really wide rear? (with the Krauser's on, my GTS is wider than a 2000 Kawa Vulcan Nomad with all the bells & whistles & then some). What? The rear is really wide? Ha! I felt like I was on a much smaller bike than looks & specs reveal. I have no quirk or odd thing to say about the way my GTS behaves. I can now say that my GTS is everything I was looking for in a new ride experience & then some. It's an excellent motrcycle & it really doesn't disappoint. It just surprises the hell out of me over & over again. Be good. Ride safe. Peter Piazza.
