What sort of changer? Harbour Freight/Northern Supply
has one for motorcyles/ATV's pretty cheap (<$200 I
think). I got one of those wierd Pro-Lev'r Tire
Wizards which is usable but not like a bolt-down
stand-up shop type changer. I balance the rear on the
axle and can get it as close as the high speed @ the
local shop. The front, well, I just schmooze about
town and the novelty gets me a free balance most of
the time (I take the Avon to the Cooper place and let
them brag on their sister). My regular car tire guy
will always do it for free if he is there. There was
a link a while ago to a cool site with pictures.

Be careful using irons as you can bend the rim when
the tires fight you. I use a small amount of Corn
Huskers lotion for lube and try to wipe it off before
I set the bead--I can't seem to find the tire lube
stuff anymore...
Good luck and Happy Hunting
