Coats makes a Model 220 tire changer that is manually operated and works well. Affordable is subjective, I am guessing that tool is probably over $400. There is also a free standing bubble balancer that runs about $200. OK, for $600, can you find a shop that doesn't gouge your rims? Maybe shopping for the lowest prices on tire installation is not in your own best interest.
