Hmmmmmmm, I would imagine that Yamaha was trying to keep me happy as a
customer, which they did.  Bravo Yamaha.

I never did think that Yamaha was concerned about liability, but only about
making my GTS run better.  The replacement ECU made that happen.

Hmmmmmmm, lets see. I can not and am not speaking for Yamaha, but in
thinking
of this..... where is there more liability? An annoying surge or an engine
that stalls? Hmmmmmmmmm Perhaps they were truly just trying to keep you
happy
as a customer.
