Thanks Barry. I can tell you that in the Washington D.C. area, things are
paralyzed. The military is on high alert, government offices are being
evacuated, there are many fighter planes in the air around D.C. and Andrews
Air Force base. My mom lives outside of Andrews, and she said it was almost
like an air show there were so many planes around. Lots of combat
helicopters too, although there are not that many in this area.

The National Security Agency is just down the road from us, and things are
at a high level of activity.

Most workplaces have had any actual work grind to a halt, and most people
are glued to TV's and radios. Schools have been close in the state of
Maryland. My company dismissed most employees.

I second that Peter. It is with total disbelief that I send my heartfelt
condolences.

I sincerely hope that no-one on the list has lost a loved one, though I
realise this is of little comfort to others who have.

Our loyalty here in England is and will be always with our friends in the
US.
