Hi Bob. I don't know. I toss the idea around so I guess I'll be tossing it
around more as time passes. When I did my planning for the engine I didn't
really set out to acheive performance numbers. I was looking for street
reliability & basically a top shape engine, so that I could do lots of worry
free mileage. Granted though, that there are some pieces that are not OEM .
I don't have any riding experience on a stock GTS ,so it's a little of a
handicap on my part since I can't give any before & after opinions or ideas.
I haven't had any of the little quirks I keep reading about so I can't even
comment on those when they appear. However, I have ridden many motorcycles ,
some really powerful 1's, some not so,from beginner to super sport. I have
read figures of 100hp & 72lb's of torque for the GTS in stock OEM trim. I
can tell from my ridng experiences that my GTS feels considerably more
potent than this, even though I have been doing break-in.. If & when I get
some hard figures I'll be more than glad to post them. Be good Ride safe.
Peter Piazza.
