Hey Guys....voice out of the past....Hawke here. I've been busy on a
project. Hopefully I will have a little more contribution time for the GTS
clan. Or is that Mafia?

Thor,

I have the BAJA HID lights installed on my faster BLUE GTS along with PIAA
1100X's.

I love the HID. It lights up the world. I was concerned in making the
initial decision to do it because they only come as a single filament bulb
and you have to choose between a high( strictly off road) or low
beam(shielded filament). I decided on the shielded and aimed it fairly
high. It is nearly daylight when it is on. The surprise is the beam is
very broad but with the shield it doesn't seem to bother on coming traffic
our reflect in the rear view mirror of cars ahead of you.

I planned on using the PIAA's for low beams if it put out light that
bothered on coming traffic...I haven't had to use them in that manner. One
HID beam out of the head light does it all.

The nice thing is you get nearly 150 watts of equivalent light for 35 to 45
watts. With the output limited alternator and having a lot of other
electrical crap on my machine the extra power comes in handy.
