This rapid rise in spring rate, according to the manufacture, allows the unit to react to smaller road bumps and makes for a more comfortable ride. The damping, as I mentioned, is still controlled by oil.
Information on Fournales performance from customers is quite scarce on the Net, so there's little to go on. I bought the GTS is as a comfortable two-up tourer, hence my decision to try these units. If I was looking for sports type suspension, I'd probably have gone for Ohlins as on my FJ and Thunderace. Best way to find out is by personal experience in my books.
