Well, It finally came in the Metzler MEZ1 130/60/zr17, I believe I paid
$119.00 for it, with a $32 mount on bike and balance charge. The Excel Yamaha
Dealer wanted to sell me the inferior Michelin (non-radial) for 174.00 with a
64.00 mount and balance. Needless to say that I went with Discount Motorcycle
Tires.....

as per your question
"see how well they can balance the front tire..."

I am still taking it easy to wear off the tireslick, but, i did have a chance
at 2 miles strait, no traffic, i slowly punched up to 80, held it, 100, held
it, 115...held it.....NO WOBBLE, NO SHIMMY, a wonderful balance job I must
say. They did it all in just under 45min. I highly recommend anyone in the
denver metro area to use Discount Motorcycle Tire...they are located
inbetween 38th Ave and 44th Ave on Kipling, the East side of Kipling. You can
find them on the net... @ http://www.discountmotorcycletire.com/. The GTS
front tire is a special order, but they do carry the back MEZ3 tire in stock.

They do have some killer deals on tires. Hope this helps everyone. I have to
build my shed today....I have to make room for my new mistress.
