Interestingly => enough, I checked the VIN on my brother in law's GTS and his 10th character => was a P and not an R. I am guessing the service manual is using 94 model VINs => as an example, the date of manufacture on his GTS is 01/93. If anyone is I'm curious if anyone has a newer GTS (a "97" or later) to check the VIN code. I'd like to know if the "newer" bikes were really manufactured in 1993 or 94. => interested in the chart that lists the letter designation in the VIN for => model year, I will be happy to get it and post it.
