Gentlemen (I really mean that loosely too!) I have been working with Mike Coan off list trying to put together a group purchase opportunity of Gerbing Electric Vests (www.gerbing.com) ($199.99 list) and Mike's heat controller (www.warmnsafe.com)
Most of the respected members here have recommended the Gerbing vest over the Widder design (you can order a Widder directly if you want, Mike also makes a plug adapter to fire up the Widder clothing with his heat-troller..but Widder is not in the group purchase) and I have seen both, and concur. So for the sake simplicity, if you are interested in the Gerbing Vest we should be able to purchase the clothing for approximately $160 and I'd recommend Mike's portable dual zone controller (List at $99.95) at approximately $70.
