Helmuth, The "GPZ" designation in the U.S. is one that's not been used of late, and I suspect you're asking about what we'd call a "Ninja 500". If so....
I've not owned one, but have owned a Ninja 250. I've also spent seat time on a friend's Ninja 500. It's light, reliable, handles well, is not too bad to insure, and overall is a very good back for the intended market. Ranger Jay has/had a track bike that is/was a 500 Ninja, and liked it. For what you're talking about it's great. If you can afford a little more money, a newer SV650 is very hard to beat though. Just my opinion.
