I'm kind of surprised that nobody (so far in my reading) bothered to go to Kawi's web page to check things out:
Current model (2002) is a Ninja 500R -- a PARALLEL twin, as have been all of their 500 cc bikes no matter what they were called. If you can get a used 500EX you'll get a hell of a nice little bike. Same with the Suzuki GS500E. I would imagine that there are lots of accessories for these bikes, but I can't imagine that putting a windshield on the Suzuk would be all that difficult. In fact if you cruise over to Suzuki's web page, they have a list of accessories for the GS500. (http://www.suzukicycles.com/accessories/accfs.htm) Regards, Henry S.
