Just joined and scanned this list today. Reason is I've noticed (and quite attracted by) a 95 GTS for sale at house not far away from me. This one has only 25,000 km on the clock, but looks like it's been stood around outside a lot, as rust starting on some chrome bits (winter's here in Belgium not the best for bikes!). Owner has only had for a year.
I've thought of making an offer, but can anyone offer any tips / anything I should look for when testing? I've been riding a BMW boxer for the last 20 years, so this'll be quite a change!!! (i'm keeping the beemer, but need to get valve guides modded for leadless fuel). I'd use the bike for long trips, but also for commuting into Brussels in rush hours when traffic is horrendous (which would often be in the rain). Any tips, suggestions, warnings, etc., most welcome.
