Good morning folks. I didn't give too many details because the picture in the catalog is quite fuzzy. The details in explanation are not very clear. This particular supplier doesn't have any in stock & doesn't really know if or when he will get any (another case of ,we'll put it in the catalog just to sweeten it up). But I was in contact with another of my suppliers (his new ctalog isn't ready, yet) & he already has a bunch on order (we figured it out through the p\n's) & they'll be in any day now. I have 1 on order & I should have it by next week. So this is what I got so far. Keep in mind that before I have it in my hands this will be mostly speculation. It's a unit that will have to be spliced into the wiring harness after the ECU sends out its signal. Now, considering that it's been designed for the newer EFI motorcycles which don't use the 02 sensor or a closed circuit like our GTS's, suggests that we'll have to disconnect the 02 sensor (may have to rig up a resistor to complete the bypass & blinking lights that may be flashing) since the design of the closed circuit system will probably defeat any manual adjustments that will be made by the new unit. This way the whole EFI system will be manually adjustable in all its parameter through the new control unit. Other than that the installation should be relatively painless.Adjustment should be a breeze as well. More to come. Be good.
