Hi Pablo. For my application this unit will be beneficial because my motor
isn't quite stock. This will be just like remapping or adjusting the ECU. To
remap the ECU you will either make it richer or leaner at certain spots in
the RPM range. The glitches that I have read on previous posts suggest that
this is what is required. Considering the nature of our GTS's & its system,
the other alternative is a completely different programmable ECU. This costs
muchos deneros & is going to be quite time consuming . When you're done &
you compare it with the OEM parameters you'll find yourself surprised at how
close you'll come to the OEM settings. You won't change the power
charasteristics of the motor itself because this is not an engine job. The
goal is to help the engine develop its power more easily or effectively.
The benefit will be in throttle response which will translate to
driveability. Let's keep in mind that if the OEM mapping of the ECU was
that off then the motor wouldn't run very good in most RPM ranges at all.
Then it would have never made it into production. Another item that will
help is a hotter set of coils which will help the combustion process & thus
more of the unburned fuel will ignite.I hope this helps. Be good. Peter
