HI There I am sure some off you out there have had the same probs as me, my catalytic converter has rotted out. A new one is 700 pounds (forget it).
So i am thinking of making / modifiying one. Has any one out there found a collecter box from another bike that is a close fit ? I dont mind doing a little sawing / welding to adapt it. i guess the most important part is the fitting off the 4 down pipes into the collector box. (ie the spacing and diameter). I am hopeing i can just re weld the nut from the old cat into the new collector box and insert the o2 senser in there ? Many Thanks Neil Ewins
